A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies results; our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Information
Routine hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for site operation and page-use trends. Cookies or comparable tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use the limited information described above to run the site, diagnose problems, measure traffic, and improve the pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual visitors.
Linked Websites and Tools
Links may lead to Montgomery County portals, Virginia public-record sites, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. The policy of the destination site governs information submitted there, including information entered into sponsored search results provided by a third party.

Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as needed for the purposes stated above. Because there are no accounts, this site has no visitor password or account profile to expose.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults rather than children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18; if you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Rights
Where it applies, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Va. Code Title 59.1, Chapter 53, gives covered consumers rights to confirm and access personal data, correct or delete it, obtain a copy, and opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. Since we keep very little, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and server logs and removing what we find. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records controlled by Blacksburg, Montgomery County, or Virginia agencies are outside our control; direct a correction or removal request for those records to the responsible custodian.
